My grandma has been a huge inspiration to me in my life. She has always been there for me no matter what I am doing. She has also always done her best to please both my brother and I. No matter what day it is or what time of day it is she always has a vital amount of energy when she is with my brother and I. I love my grandma so much! My grandma has inspired me in so many ways.
One reason my grandma inspires me is she has always cared a lot about me and NEVER wanted anything bad to happen to me, to make that happen she has to believe in herself to do what she wants to do. One day she volunteered in my kindergarten class, I wasn’t cooperating and didn’t want to ride home in the car with her, I wanted to ride the bus like I normally did. At the end of the school day there was a ton of chaos in the halls as always and I got on the bus like I normally did with no problem. About five minutes later my grandma got on the bus and yelled “Is Natalie V. on this bus?” I stood up and said, “ Yes, grandma I am here.” I was so embarrassed. She was worried that I didn’t make it onto the bus with all the chaos in the halls. Now when I look back at that day I realize that my grandma didn’t do that to embarrass me she did it because she loves me.
Another reason my grandma inspires me is I have always loved soccer and my grandma loves to watch me play it even when she should be doing something a little bit more valuable with her time. Whenever she comes to one of my soccer games she screams and yells. If my team is loosing or winning she still screams and yells. My grandma will never stop cheering me on even if I tell her to be quite she just won’t. Just like the time I was sprinting after a player on the other team, I wasn’t going the right way but still she kept screaming. I remember her yelling, “ take it down the field, take it all the way!” After that game I told my grandma I wasn’t going the right way down the field and that she shouldn’t’ t cheer unless my team has the ball and is going the right way. I am extremely glad my grandma cheers me on but now she only cheers when I am going the right way down the field.
Something else my grandma does to inspire me is puts so much effort into everything she does. My grandma wants everything to be perfect in my life and she goes to an immense amount of effort to make that true. When our next door neighbor moved to London, UK for six months on a business trip my parents went out to visit them. My grandma took the week off work so that she could watch my brother and I while my parents were away. Every morning when we would get up for school she would have some kind of breathtaking breakfast cooking. She made scrumptious lunches and every morning she would check with us to see if the lunch sounded good for that day. I remember getting home every night from soccer and smelling some type of great food. My grandma drove us around, let us have friends over and did so many other things to please us. My brother and I are a big part of my grandma’s life and she really shows us that.
My grandma is such a great person and she always shows me that. I love my grandma so, so much. I really appreciate her love. She is all you could ask for from a grandma! She works so hard and is so much fun all at the same time. My grandma inspires me so much.
